Pull on your PJs and bring your teddy bear to the bookstore! Author Jon Agee will be here to read you a bedtime story. Get cozy in front of the fireplace, listen to a story or two, have some milk and cookies, get your books signed, and then head home for bed.

Everyone knows Santa Claus: his merry laugh, his fashionable winterwear, his penchant for milk and cookies, his teams of elves and reindeer who assist him in his mammoth, once-a-year task. But what we don’t know is how Santa became Santa. For example, did you know about his siblings: Larry, Mary, Willy, Millie, Joey, and Zoe? Or that his unique method of entry, chimney-sliding, is because it’s fun? Just in time for the holiday season, Jon Agee’s delightful new book shows us what Santa was like as a child.

Jon Agee is the creator of many acclaimed books for children, including the New York Times Best Illustrated Book Terrific, and ALA Notable Books Milo’s Hat Trick and The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Audrey, and their Havanese puppy, Charlotte.
