Learn to knit, crochet and embroider from a master knitwear designer with Mill Valley Recreation

Knitting and more for Adults and Youth with Mill Valley Recreation

Knitting 101 (Ages 18+ years)
Students will learn the basic skills that comprise the art of knitting. The projects designed for this class will each be based on specific skills, building as you go so that you will learn to knit for life. Start out making hats and scarves, then advance to making gloves, shawls and even sweaters from a master knitwear designer. This class will teach you everything you need to know to begin your knitted life. Instructor: Amy Keefer

Kid’s Knitting & Crochet (Ages 8-12 years)
A knitting and crochet class designed just for kids. Students will learn to knit and crochet small projects and accessories from a local textile artist. Projects selected for this class will build skills while increasing dexterity, concentration and creativity. Beginners and all levels welcome. Instructor: Amy Keefer

Drawing with Thread (Ages 8-12 years)
Young artists will love learning to draw and write in color with embroidery. A class for the ultimate beginner, this weekly meeting will incorporate a new embroidery stitch every week.
