Man Arrested For Stolen Boat, Other Property In Marin: Police

Timothy Logan, 38, was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and other charges.

SAUSALITO, CA – Police in Sausalito on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with possession of a stolen boat and related crimes.

Timothy Logan, 38, was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

On Wednesday at 8:59 p.m., an officer with the Sausalito Police Department noticed a suspicious man moving several pieces of property from a vehicle to a boat tied up in the area of the Schoonmaker Point Marina.

Police said the man, later identified on Logan, was on probation out of Yolo County and was possession of several items of stolen property, burglary tools, narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia.

The boat Logan was placing property into had also been reported stolen out of San Joaquin County on Oct. 10, according to police.
