Marin Open Studios 2016

Marin Open Studios 2016 kicks off with a preview Gala at their exhibition gallery at #302 Bon Air Center on April 30 from 5pm to 8pm. Free to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity to preview the works of the 250 participating artists, meet many of them personally and pick up a tour guide.

If you want to miss the crowds, the gallery will open a week prior on April 23 from 11am to 6pm and will stay open through May 15 daily. (Closed Mondays). There is a gallerist on hand to help answer questions about the art or artists.

Marin Open Studios (MOS) is a vibrant, community wide event that celebrates the county’s rich culture of art. This annual free art event marks its 23rd year the first two weekends in May. Art patrons, admirers and collectors can venture out on a self-guided tour to meet over 250 artists and view their works. Not only is the artwork for sale, there is much more in the offering: conversations about creativity & imagination, chance to be inspired plus a glimpse into lives devoted to art.

MOS is the perfect event to help art lovers start or continue collecting works by local world-class artists. Attendees will be inspired by painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, graphics, print-making, glass, jewelry, mixed media and more! Marin Open Studios, “Its all the BUZZ!”
