Mill Valley Artists Sought! Commission Seeks Works for Local Shows
The local arts commission is now accepting artwork.

The following was submitted for publication on behalf of the Mill Valley Arts Commission:
The Mill Valley Arts Commission is now accepting 2D work (sorry, we cannot accommodate 3D art or jewelry) from artists and/or guest curators in the greater Bay Area to be considered for a show in the City Hall Council Chambers or Mill Valley Community Center.
Some of the shows may include more than one artist. Shows are hung for one month; opening receptions are held on the first Tuesday of the month, and are part of the downtownMill Valley “First Tuesday ArtWalk”.

Each artist or guest curator must be able to mount a show of at least 15 pieces of artwork.
REGISTER VIA MAIL OR DROP OFF: Artists/Curators should mail or drop off anArtist/Curator Information Formand a CD with 10 examples of the artwork in jpeg format representing the type and range of the artwork that would be included in the show and the Artist/Curator Information Sheet to Mill Valley Arts Commission c/o Mll Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto,Mill Valley, CA 94941 Attn: Call for Artwork; along with a payment of $25, checks payable to City of MillValley or Am Ex, Discover, MasterCard or Visa information. A receipt will be emailed to you for proof of payment once CD and payment is received.
REGISTER VIA ONLINE FORM: Artists/Curators can click hereto complete an online Artist/Curator Information Form and then mail or drop off a CD with 10 examples of their work in jpeg format representing the type and range of the artwork that would be included in the show clearly labeled with Artist or Group name and contact information to MillValley Arts Commission, c/o Mill Valley Community Center 180 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA 94941 Attn: Call for Artwork; along with a payment of $25, checks payable to City of Mill Valley or Am Ex, Discover, MasterCard or Visa information. A receipt will be emailed to you for proof of payment once CD and payment is received.
** Please note -Deadline: Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
Note: Artists showing at City Hall Council Chambers or Mill Valley Community Center in 2015-2016 are not eligible for the 2016-2017 Call for Artwork.
Note: Guest Curators may not repeat a previous year’s collection
