Moderate Air Quality Expected This Week In North Bay
Rains and changing wind patterns have helped dramatically with the improved air quality readings.

NORTH BAY, CA – Though air quality in the North Bay is expected to remain in the "moderate" zone through the upcoming week, the forecast for most of the rest of the Bay Area is for "good" air quality starting Wednesday, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District said today.
An exception to that is the area described by the air district as the "Bay Area South Central Bay," which includes cities circling San Francisco Bay south of Menlo Park and Hayward. Air quality was reported "good" today, as is expected to remain good through the week.
These readings are all a welcome change from as recently as Nov. 20, when air quality readings around the Bay Area – thanks to smoke drifting south from the Camp Fire in Butte County – in the "unhealthy" range. Rains and changing wind patterns late that Tuesday and into Wednesday helped dramatically with the improved readings.
