About Melissa Congdon MD

Dr. Melissa Congdon is a board certified pediatrician who was forced to retire from medical practice in 2008 due to severe fibromyalgia symptoms. She visited Dr. St. Amand and started the guaifenesin protocol and experienced a dramatic recovery. Over time she felt well enough to return to medical practice and trained with Dr. St. Amand to learn how to diagnose children and adults with fibromyalgia and administer the guaifenesin protocol.

Dr. R. Paul St. Amand is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and is on the teaching staff at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
