Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness Screening & Discussion
On November 15 at 7pm, join us for a film screening and discussion of "Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness" for United Against Hate week.

Mill Valley stands united against hate. The Mill Valley School District is co-hosting a film screening and discussion of the film “Not In Our Town: Light in the Darkness” as part of United Against Hate Week and in collaboration with Not In Our Town, Marin County Office of Education, the Tamalpais Union High School District, the City of Mill Valley, and Mill Valley Recreation. The event will take place at Mill Valley Community Center on November 15, 2018 at 7pm.
The film “is a one-hour documentary about a town coming together to take action after anti-immigrant violence devastates the community.” Following the screening, our Mill Valley community will engage in an open conversation around hate crimes and moving forward to stop hate in our community.
This United Against Hate Week event is one of five across Marin County, in addition to many more throughout the Bay Area. Mill Valley School District has been actively working to shape balanced, empathetic learners and an equitable community through building a culture of acceptance, kindness, and understanding.
