Recognize this Man or Truck? Police Seek Mill Valley Bank Robber

Marin County sheriff’s officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in the Mill Valley area this week.

The agency released two photos on Wednesday: one of the suspected bank robber, and another of his truck. They are both attached to this article.

Sheriff’s officials say the hold-up in the Strawberry Village Shopping Center happened around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

“Employees said the suspect entered the bank, walked up to the teller, and handed over a note demanding money,” Lt. Jamie Scardina said in a news release. “The suspect was given money and left the bank with approximately $1,100. “

Scardina added that no weapon was ever seen, and it appears the man acted alone.

The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-fifties, with grey hair. He was wearing a black sweater, tan shorts, black sunglasses and “crock” type sandals, according to the sheriff’s office. He was seen leaving the bank in a white Ford Ranger pickup truck.
