BREAKING: The National Park Service is conducting a controlled burn Monday at Point Reyes National Seashore.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – See or smell smoke in West Marin? Don't be alarmed. The National Park Service is conducting a controlled burn Monday at Point Reyes National Seashore.
In an effort to create defensible space around homes, Monterey cypress piles will be burned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. near Limantour Beach, according to the National Park Service.
