We made our Labor Day weekend getaway road trip one week in advance.
The Wild Plum Campground in the Tahoe National Forest in Sierra City, Ca was our destination.
We awoke to smoke-filled skies each morning but the beauty of the stark Sierras and the rushing Yuba River was an invigorating intoxication!
I swam across the Salt Pond next to the Lower Sardine Lake (in the photo above) and emerged a more pristine reenergized human being!
Upon returning to Marin County, I stopped at The Spinnaker and put my feet in the water of the San Francisco Bay.
The next day my job took me to Stinson Beach and I waded in the Pacific Ocean happy the beach was open again after the shark death and the grey white sighting!
From the Yuba River to the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean my feet felt three great bodies of water in a three day span!
I am still living large and loving it in my beloved California!
