Storm Damages Parking Lots At Stinson, Tennessee Valley Beaches

The parking lots are closed until further notice.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Flooding from Eskoot Creek Friday caused damage to the north and central parking lots at Stinson Beach in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area but Stinson Beach was open today, National Park Service officials said.

The parking lots are closed until further notice and the National Park Service is working with the Marin County Department of Public Works to remove debris from the parking lots. The central parking lot sustained more significant damage, according to the park service.

The Parkside Cafe at Stinson Beach was not affected by the flooding nor was a private concession that is closed on weekends but picnic areas were damaged.
