Submerged Car Pulled From Water Off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard

MARIN COUNTY, CA – A car was submerged in water in Marin County overnight, but the driver is safe and the vehicle has been recovered, authorities reported.
The California Highway Patrol's Marin Office received a call around 1 a.m. about a car submerged in water off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Inverness. The person who picked up the driver reported the incident.
"When our officer arrived on scene and found the nearly completely submerged vehicle, we determined it would be safer for everyone to recover the vehicle during daylight," officials said.

"This morning, we called the total experts at Diego Truck Repair and they came out with all the needed equipment – swim trunks and a huge truck and were able to recover the vehicle."
