Teen Arrested On Kidnapping, Robbery Charges In Marin County: Police
Police said the 17-year-old victim fled the vehicle after fearing for her safety.
TIBURON, CA — An 18-year-old Marin County man was arrested this week on multiple felony charges after a domestic incident involving a 17-year-old girl, police said.
Officers responded shortly after 2:20 a.m. Monday to the area of Avenida Miraflores and Tiburon Boulevard after the teen fled a car during an argument with Kamran Malek-Madani, according to the Tiburon Police Department.
Investigators said the girl attempted to get out of the vehicle because she feared for her safety.

Police said Malek-Madani accelerated in reverse while the passenger door was open and continued driving at a high rate of speed as the girl tried to exit the vehicle.
Authorities also said he took the girl's cellphone when she attempted to call 911.

After driving a few miles, Malek-Madani stopped the vehicle and the teen was able to get out. She later walked to the Tiburon Police Department to report the incident, police said.
Police said they arrested Malek-Madani on suspicion of robbery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and felony child endangerment.
Malek-Madani surrendered Tuesday and was arrested after arriving at the TPD with his attorney, police said.
He was booked into the Marin County Jail, police said.
