When I arrived on Arroyo Burro Beach, I was homeless, in an acceptable way, taking a road-trip between residences. The lovely live-work-apartment in Mill Valley that allowed me to work and live large was now past-tense.Festive, sunny and sandy but not too hot Donkey Creek Beach was studio for the day. Working quickly with acrylics, drawing with a variety of colors, capturing the movements of the figures and surf with a perspective of the beach and mountains behind, magical, beautiful, it came together with minimal fuss, quickly. Each idea expressed on the canvas fluidly and then voila!  Complete, in the unfinished way I like best. The road trip has now gone on for two years. One year in California, Hawaii, India, South East Asia  and another  in Brasil and Argentina.
