Three Celebrity Caregivers
Here's something for those who keep up with celebrities: some have chosen to be caregivers, too.

Famous caregivers really do come from all walks of life, even from red carpet runways and political arenas . They take care of loved ones and faces many of the same struggles we all do. They know that caregiving a loved one takes time, effort, and talent. Here’s a list of three celebrities whose caregiving efforts may not be as obvious to most of us as their day jobs are:
Patrick Dempsey
Dempsey is one of the most popular celebrities in the country. His mother suffered from ovarian cancer. He provided care for her for sevreal years. Mrs. Dempsey also served as the inspiration the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing.
Rob Lowe
Lowe decided to be his father’s caregiver who suffered from cancer. Lowe was inspired by his grandfather who was a caregiver of his wife. Lowe also advocates for other male caregivers.
Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter
Carter became a responsible caregiver at the age of 12 when her father was diagnosed with terminal leukemia. Her care giving experience encouraged her to establish the Institute for Care Giving. Later on, she wrote several books to help caregivers perform their job better.
Hopefully this helps to remind us that caregiving a loved one goes beyond one’s status in life.
