Transient Arrested In Sausalito Apartment Burglary: Police
Connor Hanley, 32, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, trespassing, possessing a controlled substance, and violating his probation.
SAUSALITO, CA — A transient was arrested on suspicion of burglary this week in Sausalito, police said Wednesday.
Sausalito police responded to a report of a burglary around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 1900 block of Bridgeway. The caller said they saw a person enter an apartment that did not belong to them.
Officers found Connor Hanley, a 32-year-old transient, inside of the apartment, Sausalito police Captain Bill Fraass said. Hanley said he was staying at a friend's apartment and had permission to be there.

"Further investigation revealed that Hanley had unlawfully entered the apartment and did not have permission to be on the premises," Fraass said. "Hanley was found to be in possession of property belonging to the legal tenant of the apartment as well as suspected Hydrocodone without a prescription."
A records check revealed Hanley was on probation in Marin County for trespassing and violating a protective order, Fraass said. He was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of burglary, trespassing, possessing a controlled substance, and violating his probation.
