Warriors Win Far West League Opener

The Warriors were victorious in their league opener versus the Neptune Beach Pearl by the score of 11-2.

Warriors starting pitcher, Taylor Toccalino, was a bit erratic in the first inning, but settled down going 5 innings while giving up only one hit and two runs. The rest of the pitching staff was able to hold the Pearl scoreless over the final 4 innings.

Offensively, Colby Wright led the charge, going 4-5 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Jarret Costa (2-4) contributed as well, knocking in 4 runs.
