The incident occurred Saturday afternoon after an apparent fight involving the woman and two men broke out, Sausalito police said.

Police believe Unger first sprayed her boyfriend in the eyes with peppery spray, prompting him to run away, and then threw a metal steering wheel lock bar at the 73-year-old man. His leg injury required surgery, police said.
Unger, who is on probation in Marin County for trespassing and resisting arrest, was arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse.
