• New Affordable Housing Project at 1397 California Circle in Milpitas (sfyimby.com) — Construction is underway on a new five-story affordable housing complex at 1397 California Circle in Milpitas, bringing 75 income-restricted apartments by 2028. The project will offer one- to three-bedroom units plus on-site tutoring, youth and teen programs, financial literacy, and wellness classes, adding much-needed lower-cost housing options for local residents near I-880.
   

• Milpitas police announce arrests in robbery, assault of juvenile (newsbreak.com) — Milpitas police have arrested four teens, including three from Milpitas, in connection with an August robbery and assault of a juvenile on East Calaveras Boulevard near Park Victoria Drive. Following an earlier arrest, detectives served warrants Tuesday, seizing firearms from three homes and booking the suspects on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, battery, and multiple weapons violations.
