Anyone With Info On Milpitas Drive-By Shooting Asked To Call Cops

The July incident is still under investigation.

Police in Milpitas are investigating a July drive-by shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

Officers responded July 27 at 9:17 p.m. to the 300 block of San Andreas Drive on a report of a shooting. Police said the victim was shot once in the chest while standing in the front yard of a residence. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for the gunshot wound.

Police said a light colored vehicle was seen driving away from the area at a high rate of speed following the shooting.
