Armed Robber Holds Up Man In Milpitas Supermarket Lot
Recognize him? Search is on for the bandana-wearing suspect from the Tuesday night crime.
MILPITAS, CA – A 45-year-old man from San Jose was robbed of his wallet and cellphone Tuesday night in a Milpitas grocery-store parking lot by a male wielding a gun and wearing a bandana partially covering his face, according to police.
The victim was outside his vehicle at about 9 p.m. in the east parking lot of Ocean Supermarket, located at 2 South Park Victoria Drive, when approached by the suspect, said Lt. Raj Maharaj of the Milpitas Police Department.
The robber was described as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 8-inches tall, 160 to 180 pounds, with short black hair and a medium build. He was wearing a black, San Jose Sharks hooded sweatshirt, glasses, black gloves and had a gray bandana covering the lower portion of his face, Maharaj said. He left the scene in a gold or silver, four-door sedan.
