Boy, 15, Shot In Nearby San Jose

SAN JOSE, CA – A 15-year-old boy was shot late Monday afternoon in San Jose, police said.

Officers responded at 4:14 p.m. to the 900 block of Walnut Woods Drive, about two blocks from John F. Kennedy Elementary School, where a person had been shot.

Officers found a 15-year-old boy suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The boy's wounds were not considered life-threatening.

Police said the suspect has not been identified or apprehended.
