History & Mystery of Tarot at Milpitas Library

Why did the Catholic Church ban Tarot cards in the 1400’s? What do Korean shamans have to do with Tarot? What’s up with all these crazy names for the cards, like “High Priestess” and “Hierophant” and “Temperance?” Sue Wilhite, Master Tarot Consultant and Teacher, will answer these questions, share the real meanings of many of the cards seen on TV and movies, and show off some of the different decks that have been created.

After spending 25 years in various IT departments in the Silicon Valley, Sue decided to catch up and develop her right brain by going back to her childhood fascination with metaphysics and spiritual studies. She is a Master Tarot consultant, Law of Attraction coach, and sound healer, among other things. She specializes in getting her clients unstuck and allowing them to fulfill their own destinies.
