
Three men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a vehicle burglary in Milpitas.
Damian Greyson Britt, 18, of Walnut Creek, Derial Antoine Royster, 20, of Antioch, and Maurice Anthony Cotton Jr., 23, of Richmond, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, criminal conspiracy, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
Britt was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, according to police.

Officers at 4:49 p.m. observed Royster and Cotton looking into parked vehicles at the Ulferts Shopping Center on Barber Lane, police said. Officers then saw Royster smash a window of a vehicle and remove a purse, police said.
The men then fled the area in a Kia Sportage and were pulled over by following officers in San Jose. All three were taken into custody without incident.

Police said several other items that could have been stolen were located in the vehicle including a laptop, camera and a cell phone.
