Milpitas Weather Forecast: Wind Advisory For Later This Week

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay Area that will take effect Thursday.

The advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. Thursday until 3 a.m. Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, south winds will be between 15 and 30 mph, with gusts of over 40 mph in lower elevations. Gusts will exceed 50 mph in higher elevations.

Winds could result in downed trees and power lines, and make driving conditions difficult, NWS officials said.
