With heavy power capacity suited for robotics and AI firms and quick access to I-880 and Highway 237, the site reinforces Milpitas' role in Silicon Valley's growing advanced manufacturing and physical AI corridor.
   

• Invasive, non-native mosquito species found in Los Altos (losaltosonline.com) — Milpitas was the first place in Santa Clara County where the invasive Aedes aegypti mosquito was detected in 2022, and the species has now spread to cities like Los Altos. County vector control urges Milpitas residents to dump standing water, watch for daytime biting mosquitoes, and contact the county if they notice increased daytime bites or suspect breeding spots.
