Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested In Milpitas With Loaded Gun
Jaylon Lorenza Ray had active warrants from both Sacramento and Los Angeles counties when he was picked up.

MILPITAS, CA — A traffic stop in Milpitas last Thursday led to a major arrest, with 23-year-old Jaylon Lorenza Ray of Los Angeles County booked into the Santa Clara County main jail for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of marijuana for sale, driving with a suspended driver license, and outstanding two warrants.
At 10:40 a.m., a Milpitas Police sergeant stopped a black 2016 Nissan Versa for speeding on East Calaveras Boulevard near South Milpitas Boulevard.
The driver, Ray, had a suspended driver license, as well as a probation violation warrant from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department and a traffic warrant from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

Based on those warrants, the sergeant searched the car and found ammunition, over 150 grams of marijuana, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.
