'Adventure Park' May Find Home In Mission Viejo, City Says
Mission Viejo planning commissioners will consider whether or not to allow an Adventure Park to start operating in town.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Mission Viejo Planning and Transportation Commission will consider a new adventure park for the Mission Viejo Freeway Center on Oct. 9, the city announced this week.
The proposed American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park was inspired by the popular "American Ninja Warrior" TV show and includes obstacles such as monkey swings, spider walls, tilting logs, floating bridges and a warped wall.
The proposed park would also include food and beverage service as well as a merchandise store and space for parties and special events. The applicant — Joe Ryan with Mission Viejo Investment Group, LLC. — estimated the park would generate roughly $150,000 in city revenue based on sales tax.
