Buy A Virtual Ornament, Help Dogs In Need This Christmas In South OC

The Dedicated Animal Welfare Group's 2024 Holiday Tree campaign is underway. Here's how you can support animals in your area.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — This holiday season, residents can make a difference for injured and orphaned animals at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center by participating in a special 2024 Holiday Tree Campaign.

The campaign is held virtually by the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group — alternatively known as DAWG.

Residents can choose from a selection of decorations including lights, baubles, bells, candles and wrapped packages, with donations starting at just $10.

Each virtual ornament can be personalized with photos of your pet, the city said.

Money raised from the campaign will help support animals in Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills and Rancho Santa Margarita.
