Dine at Ruby's July 13 to benefit Special Olympics athletes

20% of your check will benefit Mission Viejo Host Town Program

Have breakfast, lunch or dinner at Ruby’s in The Shops at Mission Viejo on Monday, July 13, and a portion of your check will be donated to a great cause.

Simply bring the flier at http://www.missionviejolife.org to the eatery at 258 The Shops at Mission Viejo between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. and 20 percent of your food and beverage sales will be donated to the Special Olympics World Games.

The City of Mission Viejo is an official “Host Town” for the Special Olympics World Games that begin July 25 in Los Angeles. The Host Town program is a special 3-day event leading up to the games. Your donation will help the City provide lodging, transportation, activities, meals and more for athletes traveling to Mission Viejo from Spain and Indonesia.

This is the last fundraiser before the athletes arrive in Mission Viejo on July 21, so the Host Town Committee is hoping for the largest turnout yet.

If you can’t make it to Ruby’s July 13, you can still donate to the Host Town Mission Viejo program at https://support.la2015.org/checkout/donation?eid=39078.
