Dramatic Crash Injures Two In Mission Viejo
The crash from this early Monday morning collision totaled at least one vehicle and woke area residents as emergency vehicles responded.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — An early morning collision woke the neighborhood in the area of Marguerite and Alicia Parkway, residents reported.
The call of a two vehicle crash at Marguerite and Alicia Parkway came in at just before 4 a.m.,
Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Carrie Braun told Patch, adding that one of the sedans may have run a red light in the crash. According to witnesses, first repsonders arrived within minutes to attend to the solo drivers, both injured, according to Braun.
The exact cause of the collision was not known as of this report, and it was not known if drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.

The injured parties were transported to area hospitals by Orange County Fire Authority medics, with non-critical injuries, she said.
The intersection was closed for approximately 3 hours after the crash before reopening to through traffic.
