Emailed Threat Closes Private School in South O.C.
St. Mary's School, an elementary and middle school, is expected to release a statement later today.
A private elementary and middle school in Aliso Viejo will be closed today and Wednesday due to an email threat, authorities said.
Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Paul Fuzzard said the exact nature of the threat against St. Mary & All Angels School was not known.
“We just know it’s going to be closed today and tomorrow,” Fuzzard said.
The K-8 school received the threat via email Monday morning, according to broadcast reports.
Fuzzard said the school was expected to release a statement later today.
