The "Leading the Way: Youth Leadership Summit in Math & Science" is a unique opportunity for Orange County's high school students to share their ideas on how to improve math and science education and to learn about how proficiency in these subjects is increasingly critical for many current and future jobs in Orange County. This interactive, half-day summit will empower students to explore careers in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and provide these students with valuable information about the workforce development trends in the county and what they need to do to be well prepared for the jobs of the future.
Summit participants will:
- Learn about future jobs with corporate representatives (e.g., architecture, engineering, medicine)!
- Meet with local college representatives!
- Have a chance to win awesome raffle prizes!
