Fun For All Ages At National Night Out In Mission Viejo: Save The Date
This year's National Night Out will feature demonstrations from the Orange County fire and sheriff's departments, free food and more.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The City of Mission Viejo's National Night Out is approaching, and residents were urged to save the date for Tuesday, Aug. 1 as the free public safety event gears up to take place.
Residents who attend the event will enjoy free safety demonstrations held by the Orange County Sheriff's Department's Mounted Units, K-9s, helicopters and more. The demonstrations designed to give residents an understanding of what the departments do on a daily basis, according to the city.
Residents will also have a chance to meet-and-greet several safety personnel at the event.

The event will also feature fun activities for all ages including arts and crafts, games and prizes, a bounce house, face painting, interactive booths, and OCSD displays.
Residents can also listen to music played by DJ Mad Platter while enjoying a free hotdog and Kona Ice while supplies last.

The City of Mission Viejo's National Night Out takes place Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pavion Park, 24051 Pavion.
