Attic Fire Startles Neighbors In Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Orange County Fire Authority firefighters responded to a confirmed structure fire in Mission Viejo, on the 23000 block of Cecelia. The fire was reported at just before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby, according to OCFA Capt. Larry Kurtz.

The fire was knocked down inside of about 10 minutes, according to Kurtz. There were no injuries reported at the scene and investigators were responding.

"A passerby saw smoke and flames and reported the fire at just before 10:30 a.m. The fire was knocked down inside of 8 minutes," Kurtz said.
