The LARCS Scholarship Award was started with Saddleback College in 2012 and was expanded to students attending other colleges and universities in 2015. The criteria for the expanded scholarship program includes that the recipient(s) are Ladera Ranch residents who have demonstrated scholastic achievement in addition to community involvement through volunteering and taking leadership roles in the Ladera Ranch Teen Leadership Council.

Scholarship applicants must be graduating high school students or current students at Saddleback College.

Jay Rogers, Board President, Ladera Ranch Community Services notes, “This year’s LARCS Scholarship recipients are all outstanding students who excelled in school while pursuing outside interests and contributing to the community. These are the future leaders of our communities and LARCS is proud to support David, Victoria and Payton as they begin their career paths.”

At the final summer concert in the park on August 12th, David and Victoria were able to meet up with Rogers, who introduced the students on stage to approximately three thousand Ladera Ranch residents, and wished them well in their college career.

Note: Scholarship award amounts can be determined by the number of qualified students who apply.
