Library Opens After 2-Year Renovation In Aliso Viejo
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the newly-reopened Aliso Viejo Library Wednesday.
ALISO VIEJO, CA — A familiar library is re-opening its doors in South Orange County.
Local officials, staff and community members gathered on Wednesday to celebrate the re-opening of Aliso Viejo Library after a two-year renovation.
"We rebuilt Aliso Viejo Library to last," OC Board of Supervisors Vice Chair Katrina Foley said. "When we began renovations, our team quickly discovered we needed to make deeper, long-term upgrades to ensure this space can serve our community well into the future."

New features at the library include classic children's story times to a "Library of Things," where patrons can gain access to appliances, games, musical instruments and even yard equipment.
