Longtime Mission Viejo employee Elaine Lister will take the reins from retiring City Manager Dennis Wilberg.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A longtime City of Mission Viejo employee will take the reins from retiring City Manager Dennis Wilberg, after Elaine Lister was announced as Mission Viejo's new City Manager.
Lister's contract was approved during last Tuesday's City Council meeting, and she will replace Wilberg, who has worked with the city for more than 20 years and was recently recognized as "City Manager of the Year" by ACC-OC.
“Elaine comes with a great background and a great track record,” Mayor Trish Kelley said during Tuesday's Council meeting. “This position was a very important one to the City, and I know that we are in very good hands.”
