Mission Viejo Barbershop 'Grumpy's' Spotlighted By City

MISSION VIEJO, CA — City officials lauded a local business in this week's Business Spotlight.

Grumpy's Barbers, established in 1968, is the oldest barbershop in Mission Viejo.

The salon offers skilled barbers — including owner, David Chavez — and a laid-back atmosphere with great haircuts and conversation.

"At Grumpy's, the 'grumpy' persona is part of the charm and old-school vibe while the service itself is top-notch and professional," the city said in a statement.
