Orange County Transportation Authority ACCESS is a program which provides para-transit services for qualified individuals who are physically and or cognitively disabled. Often times, participants aren’t able to use the standard OCTA fixed bus route due to their disability.

One of the greatest challenges for persons with special needs as well as seniors is transportation. Without safe and affordable transportation a person can be faced with a reduced quality of life and isolation.

It’s more than a ride. Individuals may want to get their hair done, go to a doctor’s appointment, buy groceries or socialize. Just because they don’t drive, it doesn’t mean they have to stay home alone.

Committee members participate on a volunteer basis in roundtable discussions, public meetings; attend presentations on a variety of transportation program projects and services. The mission of SNAC is to improve communications between OCTA and it special needs clients.
