Mission Viejo Resident, Dr. Karen Wolfe Accepted the Dr. Myron Wentz Vision Award.

Dr. Karen Wolfe, a Mission Viejo resident, recently accepted the Dr. Myron Wentz Vision Award at the USANA Health Sciences International Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Wolfe is an author, holistic health coach and international speaker on wellness and nutrition. Dr. Wolfe has shared her vast knowledge with her community through many free programs and sessions on health and wellness.

“Genetic Roulette,” FED UP with the Battle of the Bulge,” and “Sugar is the New Fat!” are just a few of the programs Dr. Wolfe has hosted at the Norman P. Murray Community Center and at The In Spirit Center of Orange County.

She has written several books, “Medicine from the Inside Out, “Create the Body Your Soul Desires,” “Is Your Lifestyle Killing You” and “Successful Aging: The Antioxidant Advantage.”

Dr. Wentz is a world-renowned scientist specializing in microbiology and immunology. He received the Albert Einstein award in 2007. The Dr. Wentz Vision Award honors those who work to make the world a better place by sharing Dr. Wentz’s vision to improve health and reduce the mental and physical suffering of others.

According to Dr. Karen Wolfe, “Biomedical research has shown that your mental attitude, behavior and emotions impact your physical health.”

Dr. Wolfe was born in Sydney, Australia where she graduated at Sydney University with a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery. She worked as a family physician in Australia. For eight years she was the Medical Director of the Australian Government Health Service. In 1991, she moved to the United States where she completed a Master’s in Psychology from National University in California.
