New Mission Viejo Eatery Opening, 170+ Positions Available

Raising Canes is hiring more than 170 positions ranging from crew to management levels prior to its May debut.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A new eatery is opening its doors in Mission Viejo this May. Crispy chicken lovers, rejoice — Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is opening a debut location in Mission Viejo, and they need roughly 170 employees to get things started.

Residents on the market for a summer job or a new career are encouraged to apply Raising Cane's for any part-time or full-time position. The positions range from crew to management level, a Raising Cane's news release said.

“We’re excited to join the Mission Viejo Community and to bring over 170 great new jobs to the area,” Area Leader of Restaurants Blake Maggard said in the release. “This is the first Cane’s we’ve opened in the area in two years! We have the coolest spot for our new Restaurant that overlooks Mission Viejo.”

The new location is located at 26980 Crown Valley Pkwy., and will feature a double kitchen, multi-lane drive-thru and patio overlooking the city, the release said.

Previously, Raising Cane's was one of three restaurant brands named to Forbes' "Best Employers For New Grads" Top 100 list. Raising Cane's also earned a spot on Glassdoor's "100 Best Places to Work in the U.S." list in 2021.

Interested applicants can apply for a position with Raising Cane's until April 25, the news release said. To apply, candidates should text RCJOBS to 97211 or visit the eatery's website. Applicants will be contacted quickly, the company said, to set up an interview after applying.

Applicants can also fill out an application in person Monday through Saturday at Hamptons Inn, 28682 Marguerite Pkwy., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
