New Pizza Eatery To Open Doors In South OC

LAGUNA WOODS, CA — A Sacramento-based pizza restaurant is coming to Orange County, after Pizza Guys announced the grand opening of its newest location in Laguna Woods.

The new restaurant will be located at 23582 Moulton Parkway by local entrepreneur, Hooman Horbakht. The Moulton Parkway will be Horbakht's fourth Pizza Guys restaurant.

As a part of commemorating the new location, "free pizza cards" will be handed out to the first 500 patrons on the grand opening date of Jan. 11.

Horbakht told Patch that he has been with the Pizza Guys franchise for 21 years. He came to the United States as a Persian immigrant and started off as a pizza delivery man.

"Pizza Guys has helped me achieve so much in the past 21 years — I am so proud to offer job opportunities and fundraising opportunities to Orange County," He told Patch. "We can't wait to bring our delicious specialty pizzas to Laguna Woods."

According to Horbakht, the new location is expected to bring more than 20 jobs to the community, as well as fresh and specialty pizza.
