OC Fire Crews Quickly Contain Blaze Near Laguna Niguel
"It burned up toward some homes, but, luckily, the wind was light," a fire captain said.

Orange County Fire Authority firefighters quickly contained a brush fire to two acres near a Mercedes-Benz dealership Thursday.
The blaze behind Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel near the Santa Ana (5) Freeway and Avery Parkway started about 4:15 p.m. and was brought under control by 5 p.m. after 85 firefighters responded, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.
No homes were threatened, Concialdi said.

“It burned up toward some homes, but, luckily, the wind was light,” he said.
There were no injuries in the fire and the dealership did not require evacuation, Concialdi said.
