Orange County Woman Convicted of Pimping at 3 Massage Parlors

ORANGE COUNTY, CA – A 47-year-old woman was convicted Thursday of pimping four women out of three massage parlors in Irvine, Lake Forest and Stanton.

Nga Thuy Tran of Lake Forest was convicted of four counts of pimping and a count of pandering, all felonies. Before jurors began deliberations, three felony counts of pandering were dismissed.

Tran operated the massage parlors from a home, rented business space and a storage unit, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

The prostitutes at the time were 42, 24, 20 and 19 years old when they worked in the massage parlors, according to prosecutors.
