Pickleball Fundraising Tournament Set In Mission Viejo

Mission Viejo residents can register for the Paddle for the Battle pickleball fundraising tournament starting today.

June 19, 2024

Registration is now available for the Paddle for the Battle pickleball fundraising tournament from 2-10 pm Saturday, August 24 at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center.

The City of Mission Viejo is partnering with the American Cancer Society to host the daylong doubles round-robin pickleball tournament for a great cause. While enjoying an afternoon and evening of pickleball, you will help fund roundtrip rides for patients to treatment appointments, provide services to families with loved ones battling cancer and fund research to find a cure.

One hundred percent of your $100 team entrance fee is a direct donation to the American Cancer Society through the nonprofit’s Relay For Life fundraising efforts. Each of the six divisions offered will have space to accommodate up to 16 teams, with a three-game guarantee. Medals will be provided to the first, second, and third-place finishers.

Space is limited, so do not delay in registering today at cityofmissionviejo.org/pickleball. For more information, contact Tournament Director Amanda Bassett at 949-452-8326 or Abassett@cityofmissionviejo.org.
