Residents Urged To Attend Bike Safety Rodeo Friday

Orange County residents — as well as their bikes and e-bikes — were invited to join in on the safety event Friday, May 12.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Orange County residents were invited to take part in a special Bicycle Safety Rodeo on May 12 in Mission Viejo, the city announced.

The event is held by the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the California Highway Patrol, and participants will have the chance to ride through a non-competitive skills course designed to help build safe riding abilities.

In addition, the California Office of Traffic Safety will be giving away free helmets, and all participants will have a chance to win a bicycle-themed prize.
