A Salute to Our American Heroes!
Please check out the banners with our local heroes at City Hall until May 27.
The City of Mission Viejo will recognize American Heroes on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2015 at 8:30 am at the Mission Viejo Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Dr., MV 92691.
The U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters Battalion First Marine Division will provide the Color Guard, rifle salute and buglers. In addition, Colonel Paul Nugent and retired, 1st Lieutenant David K. Hayward, an Army Air Force pilot during WWII and author of “A Young Man in the Wild Blue Yonder” will be the keynote speakers. Mission Viejo has adopted Headquarters Battalion First Marine Division.
Musical entertainment will be performed by Dawn Wright, the “famed voice” of the Los Angeles Angels and the Anaheim Ducks.

American Heroes Tribute Banners will be displayed until May 27 to honor and remember our military heroes who lost their lives fighting for our freedom and our country.
