MISSION VIEJO, CA — As Dec. 25 approaches, Orange County residents may be running into some surprising sightings of Santa Claus.

Orange County resident Debbie Cano Ruesch was looking out her back patio when she noticed a surprising sight: Santa Claus paddleboarding across the water of Lake Mission Viejo.

"Santa’s busy this morning," Debbie told Patch.
